DEPARTMENT OF ADVOCACY & AWARENESS

To collate, create and provide quality resources for educational and awareness resources, supporting the mission of our organisation through courses and collaborations.

PURPOSE OF DEPARTMENT OF ADVOCACY & AWARENESS

Creating resources set on raising awareness and understanding of the 17 SDGs, using various mediums such as through thought-provoking lesson plans and activities designed to motivate and inspire students to become interested in humanitarian causes. We aim to provide a resource that facilitates the introduction of national and international problems to young students, being a call to action to motivate students to get involved in promoting and supporting the SDGs, and, as a secondary aim, raising awareness of what the UN and UNA do.

CURRENT PROJECTS

Creating a course that emphasises on the importance of the SDGs in our immediate environment and community, with the aim to distribute these online through virtual workshops, interactive activities used in assemblies in schools across the United Kingdom.

“Power without love is reckless and abusive, and love without power is sentimental and anemic. Power at its best is love implementing the demands of justice, and justice at its best is power correcting everything that stands against love.”
